Oh So Tired!!!

Carson and I went to a Mom's Club Lunch Bunch today. He was too busy running around with all the other little ones that he didn't really eat any of the yummy appetizers that all the moms brought. So I fed him when we got home but he was so tired that he was eating with his eyes closed and then fell asleep right in his booster seat. It was so cute and funny that I just had to get it on camera!

Picnic in the Park

Today we packed up our picnic basket and headed to our community park to have lunch with our neighbors. Carson had fun playing with Peighton, Lilia, and Kaila. He really enjoyed the swing set too! Here are a few of the pictures that Ryan took:

15 Month Stats

Carson had his 15 month doctor appointment this morning. He weighs 27 pounds (80th percentile), is 33 1/2 inches tall (96th percentile) and his head circumference is 48.7cm (86th percentile). The doctor visit went well and he seems to be right on track with all the milestones for this age. However, he does have 2 mild ear infections. So they gave him some antibiotics and we will go back in 3 weeks for another checkup. He will get his chicken pox vaccine and MMR shots at that time.

Carson was enjoying our fireplace in the most unusual way today and we had to capture it on video.

Castaway Cay

On April 5th, the ship docked at Castaway Cay - Disney's own private island. We enjoyed the morning kid-free floating at the family beach and then went snorkeling at the adult-only beach. The water at Serenity Bay (the adult only beach) was crystal-clear blue and we got to see lots of little creatures. It was so peaceful and relaxing!
Then in the afternoon, we brought the boys out to the beach so they could splash around and have some fun too!

The next morning we packed up all our belongings and headed back home to Indiana.

The Bahamas

On April 4th, the cruise boat docked in Nassau. Ryan, Alan, and Justin went snorkeling in the morning while the girls got some pampering done on the boat. In the afternoon, we adventured out to Atlantis to see their huge aquariums.

Let the Cruise Begin

On April 3rd, we boarded the Disney Wonder Cruiseline for a 3 night trip to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay. Alan, Melissa, Ethan, as well as Justin, Catherine, Everett, and Aidan joined us on the trip. Several of Catherine's family members were on board too.

The Chans Head to Florida

On April 1st, 2008, we took our first family vacation. The Chans packed up and headed to Florida for some relaxation and warm weather! We stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort for the first two nights along with Alan (Ryan's brother), Melissa, and Ethan. We spent the day at SeaWorld where we saw lots of fish and even sat in on a cool Shamu show. Here are some of the pictures from SeaWorld...

After SeaWorld and naptime, we took the boys to the beach for some Fun In The Sun!
